Pierre Bergougan

Founder/CEO

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px”][vc_column_text]Pierre Bergougnan is the founder and CEO of Marque Medical, a medical services company specializing in delivering high-quality urgent care medicine. Since inception in 2010, Marque Medical has grown to become a well-established name with sites in Orange County, San Diego, and Riverside, and has a diverse platform of immediate care, wellness, and employer services. Marque has been ranked a Top 10 Workplace in Southern California for the past five years, and Pierre was named a Distinguished Leader in his community in 2018 by Orange County Register. He is actively involved in local business groups and speaks regularly at industry events.

In 2008, Pierre founded Marque Investments, a company that provides strategic investment services and lends startup capital to new and emerging companies in the technology and medical space. Pierre has extensive experience managing complex transactions and has structured many joint venture partnerships for value-add real estate opportunities and is also a direct investor in opportunistic property ventures.

Pierre has worked at several private equity firms including Studley Structured Finance Group and Buchanan Street Partners, where he helped secure and originate debt and equity financing for the firm’s principal and advisory businesses in the aggregate of $1 billion dollars. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and lives with his wife and two children in Newport Coast. David Porzio, MD, FACC

Medical Director

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px”][vc_column_text]Dr. Porzio is the medical director of Marque Medical, a medical services company specializing in delivering high-quality urgent care medicine. He’s a board-certified medical doctor, specializing in cardiology. Dr. Porzio was born in Long Beach and raised in San Jose, CA. He graduated from Cal State University, Long Beach and attended medical school at the University of California, Irvine. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Massachusetts and decided to move back to Southern California to start his medical career.

Dr. Porzio joined Marque Medical in May of 2013. Before Marque Medical he had a solo cardiology medical practice at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA. He’s passionate about cardiology and helping people make changes to lower their risk of developing cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Porzio is loved by his patients and the community. He is always willing to go the extra mile when it comes to managing and mentoring the medical providers at Marque Medical. He is actively involved in training, mentoring and shadowing new doctors and physician assistants and regularly attends and speaks at medical conventions and events. Dr. Porzio holds a FACC certification (Fellow of the American College of Cardiology) which is given to physicians based on their outstanding credentials, achievements, and community contribution to cardiovascular medicine. Dr. Porzio lives in Irvine with his three boys. Nathan Kiskila, MD

President

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px”][vc_column_text]Dr. Kiskila is the President of Marque Medical, a medical services company specializing in delivering high-quality urgent care medicine. He’s a board-certified medical doctor, specializing in family practice. Dr. Kiskila was born and raised in Southern California and got his BA from the University of California, Davis. He then went to medical school at the University Autonoma of Guadalajara and had his first internship at the New York Medical College. He completed his residency at the University of Louisville and decided to move back to California to help start Marque Medical in 2010.

Since 2010, Dr. Kiskila has not only helped grow Marque Medical, but developed a state-of-the-art virtual health platform, TeleMarque. TeleMarque uses advanced diagnostic equipment not readily available at most doctor offices and its technology is currently being used at all Marque Medical clinics. Dr. Kiskila is actively involved with the hiring and training of new and existing Marque providers and is passionate about mentoring up and coming doctors. He serves as a leader and mentor to his medical staff and is always finding ways to better his patients health and well-being. He currently sits as the chair of the networking committee for the California Urgent Care Association. Dr. Kiskila is a California native and resides in Corona del Mar, CA. Greg Christie, PA-C

VP Of Operations

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px”][vc_column_text]Greg Christie is the VP of Operations of Marque Medical, a medical services company specializing in delivering high-quality urgent care medicine. He has over three decades of healthcare executive leadership experience and has practiced clinically on the frontlines of emergency medicine, urgent care, sports medicine/orthopedics and primary care/pediatrics. Greg was born and raised in Boston, MA and made the move to California in 2018. He attended Amherst and Westfield College before going to Physician-Assistant school at Yale University.

Before joining Marque Medical in 2019, Greg ran two emergency rooms at Steward healthcare in Boston and served as Harvard Vanguard Medical-Somerville Board of Directors Chairman and concurrently as Chief of Internal Medicine. He currently serves on the faculty for Boston and Tufts University’s Physician-Assistant programs and is passionate about mentoring and training new PA’s.

Greg is a Boston native, but loves the California weather and lifestyle. He lives with his wife in Irvine and has two children, one just graduated from PA school with the other enrolled in law school at the University of California, Irvine.
