Karen Prychun, PA-C

Karen Prychun is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a strong background in both clinical medicine and public health. She earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she also spent a semester serving in a rural medical clinic in Yucatán, Mexico—an experience that deepened her commitment to accessible healthcare. She went on to earn dual Master’s degrees in Physician Assistant Studies and Public Health from Touro University.

Karen began her career in Northern California in Primary Care and Neurosurgery before transitioning to Urgent Care in San Diego in 2015. She thrives in the fast-paced, ever-changing environment of urgent care and values the opportunity to build meaningful connections with her patients during each visit.

Personal Summary
When she’s not at work, Karen is often found outdoors with her husband and two children—kicking a soccer ball at the park or building sandcastles at the beach.
