Marlena Kanouno, PA-C

Marlena Kanouno is a certified Physician Assistant with a strong background in urgent care and dermatology. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences and graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State University with a degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology.

At East County Urgent Care in El Cajon, Marlena provides comprehensive patient care—evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Her expertise includes performing in-office procedures such as laceration repairs, abscess drainage, and corticosteroid injections, as well as managing urgent and emergent medical situations.

Marlena’s experience in dermatology also brings a refined clinical skill set and attention to detail, enhancing the quality of care she provides.
