Sarah grew up in San Diego and from a young age was fascinated by science, marine life, and medicine. While in undergrad, she entertained the idea of becoming a marine biologist so she could work with dolphins, but ultimately decided to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Point Loma Nazarene University, she drove across the country to live in sunny Miami for her Physician Assistant studies. After Sarah earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Barry University, she returned home to California and eagerly started her career in Emergency Medicine. Sarah worked in Emergency Medicine for 8 years before transitioning to the Urgent Care setting and joining the Marque family.
Personal Summary
In her free time Sarah enjoys the sunshine and beach in her home in Laguna Beach. She scuba dives, and recently learned how to free dive. Her next venture is learning spearfishing. She loves traveling and has visited 30 countries to date. Her most exhilarating travel story involves running with the bulls in Pamplona. Some of her hobbies include degustation, adopting plants, antiquing, and collecting rare minerals.
