We offer rapid flu, strep, and mononucleosis testing. 

Influenza (Flu): When influenza is prevalent, a clinical diagnosis may be made by your Marque medical team based on your history, symptoms, and physical exam. There are also tests that the physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner may use to confirm the presence of the influenza virus. The most common ones that are used are “rapid influenza diagnostics tests,” which can provide results within about 15 minutes.

For the test, the inside of your nose or the back of your throat will be swabbed to obtain a sample that will then be tested on site at Marque.

Strep Throat: It’s important to seek testing and treatment from a medical professional if you suspect strep throat. A rapid antigen test will first be performed because it can detect strep in minutes. 

For the test, the back of your throat will be swabbed to see if antigens for the virus are detected. If the rapid strep test is positive, that means you have strep.

Mononucleosis:  Is a viral infection that causes symptoms including fever, sore throat, fatigue, and swollen lymph nodes.

For the test, your finger will be pricked just like a glucose test. The sample will be tested on-site at Marque and results given immediately. 

At Marque we offer same-day diagnosis for common sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Rapid testing is self-pay only and not billied to insurance.

At Marque we offer rapid pregnancy (hCG), glucose, and urinalysis testing. 

Pregnancy (hCG): We can test to see if a female patient is pregnant. To test a urine sample is required. We can also send blood work to a third-party lab.

Glucose: We can test for glucose (blood sugar) levels. 

Urinalysis: To diagnose a UTI, you’ll give a urine sample that will be analyzed by our medical team. This urinalysis can reveal signs of infection, such as a cloudy appearance and altered pH, as well as other more specific findings, such as byproducts of bateria and white blood cells.
