Information and Locations of Diagnostic and Antibody Testing

Diagnostic tests check samples from your respiratory system (such as swabs of the inside of the nose) to tell you if you currently have an infection with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Antibody blood tests, also called serologic tests, check your blood for antibodies that would show if you have had a previous infection. Marque Medical is offering both nasal diagnostic swabs tests and molecular antibody blood testing at all facilities for those patients wanting to know their current or past exposure to the COVID-19 virus. The two tests, when combined, provide the most accurate information available regarding the presence of acute infection and appropriate immune response by your body to the virus. The IgG antibody molecular test utilizes the Roche and Abbott equipment, which is highly accurate, especially within fourteen days after COVID-19 symptoms have subsided. Our process for COVID-19 antibody testing is as follows:

1. It’s recommended per the CDC and Marque Medical that you do BOTH a diagnostic nasal swab test (covered by insurance) and an antibody blood test (offered at a self-pay price) to get the most accurate information on your COVID-19 exposure. If you had a COVID-19 test within the past +/-14 days and it is negative, then you do not need to repeat that test if you are feeling symptom-free. To schedule a COVID-19 diagnostic test, please click the button below to schedule a Marque Virtual Doctor Visit, which is covered by insurance with no cost sharing. We will provide a medical consultation and a Marque clinician will prescribe a COVID-19 test. We will then direct you to a Marque testing clinic on a specific day and time. Diagnostic lab results are usually back within 1 – 3 days. If you are not experiencing any of the following symptoms, you can get an antibody blood test during the same visit as your diagnostic swab:

a. Temperature over 99 degrees Fahrenheit.

b.
